Pro-Life Payments is a values-driven processor. The following categories of businesses are not eligible for merchant accounts — regardless of processing volume, pricing, or other considerations.
Payment processing is morally neutral technology — but who receives that technology is not. Every merchant account we open is a relationship. It means our infrastructure, our people, and a portion of our revenue are being put to work for that business. We take that seriously.
Pro-Life Payments was founded on the conviction that money is not neutral — it either serves life or it serves death. The categories listed below represent industries that, in our judgment and in accordance with biblical principles, we cannot in good conscience support. This is not a legal or regulatory determination. It is a moral and covenantal one.
We are not the payment processor for everyone. We are the payment processor for those who share our values.
These prohibitions apply to new applications and existing merchant accounts. They are not subject to exception or appeal.

Zero tolerance — core to our mission
Abortion clinics, abortion pill providers, medication abortion telehealth platforms, or any service whose purpose is to terminate a pregnancy. This prohibition is absolute and non-negotiable. It is the founding reason Pro-Life Payments exists.
Explicit material of any kind
Pornographic websites, adult video platforms, OnlyFans-style content subscription services, adult novelty retailers, sexually explicit streaming or download services, and any merchant whose primary revenue derives from adult content.
Including adult matchmaking services
Dating applications and platforms designed to facilitate casual or sexual encounters, hook-up apps, adult matchmaking services, and any digital platform whose core offering facilitates relationships outside of biblical marriage.
Including recreational and medical dispensaries
Marijuana dispensaries (recreational or medical), cannabis product retailers, THC-infused product manufacturers, cannabis delivery services, and ancillary cannabis businesses whose primary customer base is the cannabis industry.
Vape shops, kratom retailers, and high-potency CBD products
Vape shops, e-cigarette retailers, hookah lounges, kratom sellers, and businesses selling high-potency or intoxicating CBD/hemp-derived products (delta-8, delta-9, HHC, THC-O, etc.) that produce psychoactive effects.
Online and physical wagering operations
Online gambling platforms, sports betting apps, internet casinos, lottery services, sweepstakes operations structured as gambling, fantasy sports platforms operating under gambling models, and any operation where monetary wagering is the primary activity.
Gender ideology and anti-biblical marriage promotion
Organizations whose primary mission is advancing gender ideology, promoting lifestyles contrary to biblical marriage, or advocating for policies that redefine marriage and family contrary to Scripture. This does not include businesses that simply employ or serve people of all backgrounds.
Case-by-case review applies
Any business or organization whose primary activities materially contradict biblical values, harm human life, exploit vulnerable populations, or conflict with our mission to protect life and strengthen families. Pro-Life Payments reserves the right to decline any application at its sole discretion.

We serve ministries, nonprofits, and faith communities — and we're just as glad to serve traditional businesses. Retail, restaurants, service businesses, contractors, e-commerce — any values-aligned business is welcome here. The only requirement is that your business doesn't conflict with our guidelines.
